Hilary got Married
|
|
Our girl got married to Mike yesterday. Here are some photos of the ceremony. Hope to get some official ones soon.
US actress Hilary Duff and Canadian ice hockey player Mike Comrie have wed at a luxury resort in Santa Barbara, California, OK! magazine reported.
A representative for Duff confirmed that the 22-year-old, wearing a mermaid gown by Vera Wang, and Comrie said “I do” in front of 100 guests at a sunset ceremony.
The couple married at San Ysidro Ranch where late President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jacqueline spent their honeymoon.
Duff and Comrie, 29, were engaged in Hawaii on February 19 after dating for two years. The NHL player presented Duff with a $US1 ($1.1) million ring.
Duff, who gained fame for her title role in TV series “Lizzie McGuire,” was escorted down the aisle by her mother Susan, while her sister Haylie acted as her maid of honor, OK! reported.

'Bonnie & Clyde' work has not started
|
|
ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) – Nearly two years after filming was originally supposed to begin on a new “Bonnie and Clyde” movie starring Hilary Duff as Bonnie Parker, the project is still up in the air.
Production company president Tonya S. Holly – who is also writer and director of “The Story of Bonnie and Clyde” – told Alexandria city officials in a letter this past week that she hopes to begin filming this summer.
City Council President Roosevelt Johnson tells The Town Talk that he’s concerned that production hasn’t started. He said he’s also concerned that Holly hasn’t been opened a local office and studio for Cypress Moon Productions, which is based in Sheffield, Ala.
Plans to film in Alexandria were announced in February 2008. At the time, it was to begin filming that summer

Celebrity Murder Attempt
|
|
I just found an artickle featuring 15 shocking celebrity murder attempt which includes an old Hilary situation back in 2006. Some people are completely out of their minds!
15 Shocking Celebrity Murder Attempts
The word ’stalker’ is very loosely used in the world today. Usually, it involves something mild like checking up on an ex or crush’s activities using the Internet — Facebook stalking. Rarely do we see cases in which a person takes a considerable chunk of their time and dedicate it toward forcing themselves into another person’s life. This kind of serious stalking can be scary, life-threatening, and is typically indicative of a serious mental illness which has spiraled out of control and manifested itself as a relentless obsession with another person. Celebrity stalking is particularly strange because the perpetrators are fixated on a person they’ve never met, and often become convinced that the star communicates with them using secret messages on their television or radio performances. Many of these stalkers are violent and have the same goal: taking a person’s life. There can be a few reasons for this; some want to become ‘united’ with the famous person in a demented way. Others wish to make sure they are the most important person in that celebrity’s life. Most bizarrely, many murderous stalkers are hell bent on a crazed delusion such as hatred for a person they believe is cooperating with the devil, or using mind powers to force them into committing evil deeds. Here are 15 of the nuttiest celebrity murder attempts by lunatic stalkers.
12) Hilary Duff An 18-year-old man named Makism Myaskovskiy moved from his hometown in in Russia to the United States for one purpose — to stalk his ‘true’ love, Hilary Duff. The Russian immigrant moved in with a member of the paparazzi while pursuing the pop princess, divulging to his roommate some violent and disturbing plans. Myaskovskiy threatened to harm himself, Duff and then-boyfriend Joel Madden to get her attention. His plan didn’t work, and he was arrested on charges of stalking and making violent threats after a private investigator was told directly by the Russian immigrant of his plans to murder Duff at a weekend event in 2006. Myakovskiy had talked about purchasing firearms to force his way in between the famous couple, and claimed that Madden was ‘the enemy’ and standing in the way of a romance he knew was meant to be. His paparazzo roommate tried to warn police of his friend’s violent psychosis, but his intentions were apparently warped when his messages were first ignored and later viewed as being in cahoots with the stalker himself.

Haylie talking about Hilary and wedding
|
|
Hilary Duff may be a crazy fan when she’s cheering for her hockey-player fiancé Mike Comrie. But when it comes to wedding planning, the actress is a lot more calm.
“She’s really relaxed and wants something comfortable and great,” big sister Haylie Duff said Monday at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of the documentary Earth Made of Glass. “She’s just so excited to be engaged.”
Comrie, 29, who plays for the Edmonton Oilers, proposed to Hilary, 22, over Christmas in Hawaii. Four months later, she and her sister are still in the early stages of planning the nuptials.
“We’ve started talking about the wedding stuff, but she’s still just really happy in this sort of phase,” says Haylie, 25. “It’ll be a while, but it’s fun to talk about it and think about it.”
Luckily, Haylie hasn’t to deal with any bridezilla-like antics from her little sister. “She’s just not the [type],” she says. “One of my other best friends got married and was a complete bridezilla, so I’m not getting the signs from Hilary that that’s the case.”

77. Hilary Duff & Mike Comrie
Duff and her hockey player beau announced they were tying the knot in February after three years of dating. Hilary these days is a far cry from her Disney tween persona, having landed a recurring role on Gossip Girl and been cast in the new Bonnie & Clyde. She also designed a clothing collection with DKNY in 2009. As for Comrie? He signed a $10 million, three-year deal with the Edmonton Oilers, so he’s not hurting for cash.

Hilary's dog missing and possible new album
|
|
Hilary had a difficult valetine’s day this year as she lost her dog. Here are some pics of Hilary getting out to ask the photogrpaher’s to help her find it:

Rumor want Hilary to get back to studio and start recording a new album. Well here are some candids of her arriving at a sound studio. Is she getting back to record an album? Possiby. Bellow is an articly from TheProhpetBlog.net about it:

After taking some time away from her music career to focus on acting, Hilary Duff has announced that she’s finally ready to start work on music again within the next few months.
The 22-year-olds last album Dignity was released in 2007 and failed to match the commercial success of her previous efforts, but it did end up becoming a surprising hit with critics. Since then Hilary’s been busy filming a slew of independent films to try and prove to the world that she’s a ‘real’ actress, as well as making appearances on Gossip Girl, Law & Order and Ghost Whisperer to pay the bills.
Currently now without a record deal after leaving Hollywood Records, Duff’s last foray into music was the song “Any Other Day” from the soundtrack to her film What Goes Up. The song was released independently and penned by Hil herself, following a more alternative-electronica sound which hadn’t really been heard from her during her stint at Hollywood Records.
To say that this is the best news ever would probably be the biggest understatement in the history of the world. I still spin Dignity regularly to this day and it’s one of my favorite pop albums ever (just check out my gushing review here). Hil then knocked my socks off again with the release of “Any Other Day”, so I’m positive that her new album will be quality pop even if it isn’t a huge commercial success.

Hollywood's Hottest Young Stars in 2010
|
|
Hilary Duff has the distinction of being the first Disney Channel superstar, paving the way for Raven-Symoné, Miley Cyrus, and the entire cast of “High School Musical”. In her teen sitcom, “Lizzie McGuire,” Duff played an average teenage girl with a very opinionated, fourth-wall-breaking, animated alter ego…

Hilary Duff’s new tattoo tells her to ‘shine’
Singer Hilary Duff has tattooed the word ‘Shine’ on her hand to remind her to always sparkle.
She insists the little ink reminder gets her out of moments of doom and gloom.
“It’s just for me to look at and remember. I feel like it’s easy to lose your shine, to lose that special thing about yourself,”
contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
“When you get busy or you get tired and you feel like everything is fake or the world is against you, it’s important to keep your character and to let your light shine.”

More Nail Salon Pics
|
|
Added some more pics of Hilary from yesterday candids:

Braving the wet weather, Hilary Duff was spotted out for a personal pampering session in Toluca Lake on Monday (December 7).
Sporting a soaking wet coif, the “Cheaper By the Dozen” cutie made her way inside the Venus Nails salon – taking a seat as staffers prettied up her hands and feet.
As for work endeavors, Miss Duff recently chatted with Nylon magazine about her Femme for DKNY Jeans line.
She tells, “I got to bring in textures that I loved and tell them about the shapes that I like. I designed clothing that I feel are staples for my closet. I think that’s really helpful to girls who need to know they can mix high-end with low-end, and you don’t have to buy a complete outfit the way it’s shown in the store. Every girl needs a great leather jacket, and every girl needs a skinny pair of black jeans.”
