We all know that Hilary Duff is expecting her first child with hubby Mike Comrie, but have you ever wondered what she’ll be up to after she welcomes their first child? You’re in luck!

The 24-year-old actress and singer sat down to answer some questions submitted by Celebuzz readers, and dished about a number of topics — including the baby that she and her hubby are expecting.

Hilary answered fan questions about her pregnancy and the baby, saying that she’s “super excited … It’s just girls in my family so I’m not sure what I’m going to do with a little boy, but it’s exciting. I think deep down inside I kind of wanted  a little boy.”

When asked about what scares her about her impending motherhood, Hilary was very candid.

“Anything that’s unknown is scary to us, and I’m definitely a little afraid. It’s not something you want to mess up and it’s not something to take lightly. Obviously I want to be really good at it. I think it’s the most important thing you’ll do in your entire life, but I have a feeling Mike and I will be OK. We’ll figure it out just like everyone else does.”

When it comes to beauty secrets, Hilary tells our readers to drink lots of water! Also, she says to use the same products and have the same routine so you can put your skin through “boot camp.”

On the TV front, Hilary dished that she loves AMC’s Walking Dead saying it’s “addicting,” and caught up on the entire series of the Showtime’s Shameless while on a flight recently. When it comes to music, Hil said she is loving Bruno Mars, Florence and the Machine in addition to being a “top 40 girl.”

The pregnant “Lizzie McGuire” star covered her growing baby bump in a winter sweater as she and her man joined other family members for the west coast spending spree.

Reportedly expecting her bundle of joy to arrive in March, Hilary recently spoke with E! News about how things have gone smoothly thus far.

The 24-year-old told, “I feel so lucky that I’ve had an easy pregnancy and I hope it stays that way.”

The “Lizzie McGuire” starlet posed for a Yule Tide Twitter photo with her shirt pulled up to expose her baby bump, whereupon a gift-wrapped box was drawn.

 

Along with the festive pic, Hilary wrote, “Happy Holidays from the three of us!” referring to her unborn child and husband Mike Comrie.

Hilary also gave a shout out to her sister Haylie, who drew the present- “What would I do without you and your artistic ways?”

Dressed in a bump-hugging brown top, black leggings and multi-colored flats, the “Lizzie McGuire” star was all smiles as she purchased the perfect finishing touches for her Christmas celebration this weekend.

Adding to her happiness this holiday season, Hilary’s six-year-old Chihuahua Lola has finally returned home after undergoing surgery for an unknown issue.

Relieved to finally have her canine companion back in her arms, Duff tweeted, “Could not have asked for a better gift! Got 2bring Miss Lola home 2day! She is standing up by herself! And taking some steps! Big improvement!”

The pregnant “Lizzie McGuire” star was joined by her mom as the pair headed into the local vet’s office to spend time with pet pooch Lola, who is recovering from surgery.

Thanking fans for their well-wishes while also criticizing photographers for their invasive ways during the trying times, Miss Duff tweeted,

“Just saw Lola. She def seems a little brighter today! Thank you all for this out pouring of love! Ps paparazzi SUCKS! Heartless people”

The 24-year-old added, “Lola update:she is getting a bit better everyday it was major surgery and I have to keep that in mind.still in the hospital:(home on Tuesday)”

The 24-year-old expectant actress has been busy getting ready for the holiday season.

“Whew why is Christmas shopping so stressful. And I am the worst at trying to do it last minute!” Hil tweeted earlier in the week.

Hilary also shared that her pup Lola is on the mend after having surgery last week.

Hil shed a tear as she visited Lola at an animal hospital on Saturday (December 17) with Mike.

Meanwhile, Duff recently opened up to UsWeekly about getting the nursery ready for her first child with husband Mike Comrie, telling, “I just remodeled the house so it was kind of perfect.”

“My decorator found this wallpaper – this girl in England does it – and it’s magnetic! It has all of these adorable characters, so you can move them around on the wall and stuff. There are flying pigs and little clouds, and you can write stuff inside the clouds. It’s adorable! It’s really, really cute.

The excited mama went on, “I know he won’t be able to play with that for a while, but when he’s old enough, I guess we’ll have to insist not drawing on the walls! But he can move the characters around the walls instead.”
