What was copied:
01. Layout (they “thanked” hduff.net for the layout for the background but they never asked permission nor did I give them permission to use it). She changed it to pink for Valentine’s day. They removed the copyright text on the layout that was put there by the layout designer, and replaced the blend with their own picture.
02. Tagboard (she used my exact tagboard)
03. Text on site stats (they kept the site title “Hilary Duff Net”)
03. They copied ALL the updates from www.hilaryonline.net

You cannot use my site as a template to create your own site. The execution was terrible. It was completely obvious that you had copied my site. Don’t make up an excuse that my site “inspired” you or something like that. We do appreciate that you kept the ad to help my host pay off server costs though!

Case 2: Miley Cyrus Style Vault

The website modified our splash page graphic without credit. Please tell them that the graphic belongs to www.hduff.net. We don’t mind them using it but please ask them to give credit to hduff.net.
Other trouble makers:
Poser 1 – this person posted a message on the tagboard using the name “Hilary: If u have aol can u add me my user name is” celinaimas…thanks”. She did not pretend to be Hilary when I contacted her on AIM, but she would not admit to posting the message and tried to blame her brother, which is why she’s on the wall of shame. Her AIM is celinaimas and her name will be taken down if she can make me believe she’s telling the truth.
